My perspective on the therapy room:
I see the therapy room as an opportunity to look again at the turbulent flow of the life we have lived and the life we have not lived. It is as though therapist and client begin an inward journey in a boat, and both need to row together. To do this, they need to get to know one another, build trust, and gradually begin rowing. They can then explore parts of the self, continuing the journey as far as they are able to go together.
