My perspective on the therapy room:

Pharmacotherapy applies knowledge of medicines to treating illness and improving a person's health. In the therapy room, drawing on detailed knowledge of mental illnesses and the effects of different medicines on clients' minds, behavior, and emotions, I work to choose the most appropriate and effective medication with the fewest adverse effects. I also consider clients' psychological, social, and cultural circumstances so that treatment can be provided as well as possible.
