My perspective on the therapy room:
The therapeutic setting is different for each person. Everyone comes to psychotherapy with a unique difficulty and hope for improvement. For one person, it may mean freedom in living; for another, release from fears and repetitions, loneliness, difficulties in relationships, low confidence, confusion, or anger. People may have tried different approaches without finding them helpful. They may feel worn down by their circumstances and seek change without knowing how to create it.
This can be the starting point for psychotherapy: having a question and beginning a path toward an answer, along which each person takes steps of a different length, with the therapist beside them. Perhaps therapy means unique questions, a unique path, and the creation of a unique answer.
